Who We Are

§      The mission of Sage Transitions is to work with nonprofits to build great and sustainable organizations. 

§       We are convinced that nonprofits need to strive for excellence, qualitatively differentiate their services and hold themselves accountable if they are to reach their potential and accomplish their mission in the 21^st Century.

§       All too often, nonprofits settle for just being good because of real and perceived resource constraints – board, staff, volunteers, income, etc.  In fact, many nonprofits have adopted the comfortable mind sets of “this is just the way it is” and “this is the way we’ve always done it” in response to their  resource environment.

§       We believe that the people served by nonprofits should expect nothing but the best from them.   

§      We also believe that good nonprofits will step up to greatness if given the opportunity and tools to make the leap.

§      For those good nonprofits that make the leap from good to great, their challenge becomes sustainability.

§        We are dedicated to working with nonprofits to –

Ü    Attract,  select and retain the best and the brightest staff.

Ü    Become rigorous in evaluating program performance.

Ü    Focus on their mission and what they do best and continuous quality improvement.

Ü   Make the leap from good to great.

Ü    Sustain greatness.
